About Event

Join us for a traditional Burns Night celebration following the Silicon Catalyst UK afternoon event - "Forming, Storming, Norming & Performing for Semiconductor Startups and GenAI" at the School of Informatics.

What to expect:

Address to the Haggis
Scottish buffet dinner
Live ceilidh band and dancing (no experience needed – just enthusiasm)
A relaxed evening of networking with fellow attendees

Schedule:

17.30: Arrival & welcome drinks, bar opens
18.00: Address to the Haggis
18.45: Buffet dinner opens
19.30: Ceilidh band begins
20.30: Short Break
20.45: Ceilidh band resumes
21.30: Last orders at the bar
22.00: Venue closes

📍GETTING THERE

The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant is located within the Scottish National Gallery, approximately 20 minutes on foot from the main conference venue.

IMPORTANT: Enter via the Princes Street Gardens entrance (not the main gallery entrance on The Mound).
