Community Guidelines
Welcome! Please read and agree to our community guidelines before attending.
1. Registration
All attendees must register in advance to receive meeting links and updates. Registration helps us create a safe and intentional space for discussion.
2. Participation
Members are encouraged to read the book (or as much as possible) before each meeting. Active participation is welcomed but not required. Listening is valuable too.
3. Respect & Inclusion
Be respectful of others’ perspectives, even when you disagree. Please avoid interrupting, dominating the conversation, or making judgmental comments. Hate speech, discriminatory language, and personal attacks will not be tolerated.
4. Confidentiality
What’s shared in the group stays in the group. Please respect members’ privacy, especially during personal reflections.
5. Meeting Etiquette
Arrive on time and mute yourself when not speaking. Keep distractions to a minimum. Please keep your camera on when possible. It helps create a more connected and engaging space.
6. Book Selections
Book picks are made collaboratively through vote, suggestion, or rotating selection. Selections aim to be inclusive, thought-provoking, and aligned with Work Within’s mission around mental health and personal or professional development.
7. Technology & Platform
Meetings are hosted via Google Meet. Please be mindful of your screen name and video background.
8. Feedback & Improvements
Feedback is always welcome. We want this space to keep getting better for everyone.
