It moves from the business into the bedroom, and from the boardroom onto the playroom floor. When you are an entrepreneur building a life and business with your spouse, everything touches everything.
Rebekah and I know that feeling because we've lived it too.
For the last ten years, we spent our lives building a family while helping founders grow their businesses, lead their teams, and pursue ambitious visions. But underneath all of it, we noticed something deeper. Working on the business was often the doorway to something deeper, bigger. What people were actually looking for was a better way to build the life and business they dreamed of.
Because business is personal.
In 2025, after navigating our second miscarriage and unexpectedly losing 90% of the revenue in our marketing business, we stepped back and started asking harder questions ourselves:
Do we want to keep doing what we’re doing?
Have we built the kind of life we actually want?
Are we leading our marriage and family with the same intentionality we bring to business?
And after facing those questions head-on and finding a more intentional, aligned path forward, we started asking them to other entrepreneurial couples in our community.
What we found was this: there are a lot of ambitious couples building businesses. Some of them are quite successful. But regardless of revenue, every entrepreneurial couple told us they have very few spaces to help them stay connected and grounded while they do it.
That is why we created Outlast. And it is why we are hosting this event.
What This Event Is (and Isn't)
It is a one-day experience for entrepreneurial couples who are carrying a lot and want to build something meaningful without losing themselves — or each other — in the process.
This is not therapy. It's not a business mastermind. And it's not a generic couples retreat.
It’s a space to slow down and reflect — space to think bigger and have intentional conversations with other couples you relate to… and who relate to you.
Most couples tell us the same thing after going through this material together: they did not realize how much they had been carrying without saying it out loud. Not because they were hiding it — but because there was never a moment to stop and name it together.
That is what the day creates for you. Not a laundry list of things to fix. Space for crucial conversations that are long overdue.

Without a shared vision, everything feels stuck and spinning. Every decision becomes a question. Every direction feels uncertain. We'll help you name where you're going — together — so your life has something to move toward instead of just react to.
Visibility — What needs to be said?
When the important things stay unspoken, couples start to feel like they're on different planets. Wondering if they're going to get something wrong. Wondering how the other person really feels. We'll create the space for the honest conversations that have been waiting.
Ownership — What are we each carrying?
When the load is invisible and uneven, it breeds resentment and exhaustion. One person feels unseen. The other feels alone in it. We'll help you name what each of you is actually carrying — and feel the relief of finally seeing it, sharing it, and knowing you don't have to hold it alone.
The Environment
The event will be hosted at Kiln in Phoenix — a relaxed, modern space designed for exactly these kinds of conversations. Think comfortable couches, good coffee, catered meals, and a small group of people who understand the tensions you are experiencing.
It won't feel like a conference. It will feel like a breath of fresh air.

Space is intentionally limited to 8–15 couples to keep the room relational, honest, and high-trust.
