Public Policy Forums: Grid Resilience and Buildout

​About: This workshop will explore how key stakeholders can use can use innovation, infrastructure, investment, and incentives to identify infrastructure, partnerships, and workforce actions that help re-employ displaced fossil-fuel workers in transmission, grid modernization, and clean-manufacturing careers, linking workforce pipelines, higher education, and state investment programs to strengthen regional reliability and long-term economic resilience. The region has been exploring developing a railroad connection that could help boost the region's desire for clean energy manufacturing, grid modernization, and workforce transition, turning Northwest New Mexico into a logistics and innovation hub that supports statewide decarbonization goals.

Your experiences, concerns, and ideas will directly inform state policy decisions that affect energy reliability, economic opportunity, and quality of life in the Four Corners region.
