Beyond the Stage: Women Shaping AI for the Real World

​A German AI Month event, hosted by Kopa Ventures & Unconventional Ventures

​The most consequential decisions in AI right now are not happening on stage. They're happening at the architecture layer, in the technical and governance choices that will be invisible in five years but will shape almost everything built on top of them.

​The people making those decisions are not as diverse as the problems they're solving for. That gap is not incidental. It is structural, and the downstream cost is real.

​Join us on the historic Cherry Blossom Trail in Berlin: this event is for a small curated group of women / FLINTA founders working at the intersection of AI and real-world impact - energy, mobility, infrastructure, industry, security, society, etc.

​A walk along the cherry blossom trail, some food, and the honest conversations that tend to happen when you take the right people off the main stage and put them somewhere beautiful.

​In case of rain or as the sun goes down, we'll move to a nearby bar to keep it going. First drink on us.

​A note for the curious:

​The cherry trees at Bornholmer Str bloom where the Wall's death strip once stood, planted in 1990 by a Japanese TV channel as a gift of joy at its fall. Over 9,000 trees now line the former border. The Japanese cherry blossom tradition (Hanami) is precisely what we're doing: picnicking under the blossoms, marking the season, reflecting on beauty and what comes next.

​And it was here at Bornholmer, on November 9, 1989, that the Berlin Wall first opened. A fitting place to talk about what gets built when everyone finally gets through the gate.
