Pre-Incubation Club by Science & Startups - Kickoff: Take Your Startup Idea Apart
The Pre-Incubation Club is where you find the weak spot in your startup idea before a jury does. Working on these weak spots might make the difference when applying for support programs like Berliner Startup Stipendium, EXIST and AI NATION Grant.
Learn about the most common mistakes in startup ideas and teams. Not only from jury members, but also from successful startup teams.
📅 12 November 2026 🕕 18:00 – 20:00 📍 Salzufer 15/16, 10587 Berlin
Programme
Input — What makes a problem worth solving, what makes a solution good, and how to find out whether anyone actually wants it. With time to test your own idea on the spot.
Founder panel — Founders on the questions that usually stay private. No pitches, no success stories.
Advisor panel — The people behind Berliner Startup Stipendium, EXIST, AI NATION and the xG Incubator on what they look for when they select.
Get-together — The founders, the advisors and our team stay for it. Name tags show who is looking for a co-founder, who wants to join a team, and who is here to help.
Who this is for
Everyone with an early idea who is not yet in an incubation program. You do not need to be connected to a university. No prototype, no team, no business plan, no pitch deck required. One sentence is enough, and it does not have to be a good sentence.
Already in an incubation program? Then you are past this point. Talk to your advisor instead.
The first evening of a series
The Pre-Incubation Club runs roughly once a month, one topic per evening. Between sessions you get free access to a digital entrepreneurship learning platform and we visit Berlin startup events together.

Free of charge. No application, no selection, no equity, nothing to sign.
Registration required. Spots are limited, so please register only if you intend to come, and cancel your spot if your plans change.
Held in English. You can talk to us in German as well.
