SUMMIT OVERVIEW
We're bringing together participants from all around the world to discuss the worrying youthwashing problem that is becoming more and more common.
The summit will include a lecture, a panel discussion and a workshop, together offering an in-depth look at the topic.
During the event, we'll present findings from our flagship report on youthwashing in Poland, one of the most comprehensive of it’s kind in Europe.
The summit will also be a great networking opportunity, providing a chance to connect with international partners and possibly working together on future collaborations and projects.
WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO DISCUSS YOUTHWASHING?
Youthwashing is based on public figures, organisations or businesses exploiting unaware young people to improve their own image and by doing so they reinforce existing hierarchical structures.
It impacts our lives hugely cause it creates a false beneficial image that youth voice is heard, while in reality it's often not. This allows for companies or public figures to make decisions without our voice being actually heard while still building a positive image, which creates a very dangerous precedent.
This is becoming a major challenge for our generation, and by discussing and speaking openly about it, we can fight together against it. We believe that education and awareness is key in such cases.
THE WORLD NEEDS TO BE OPEN FOR YOUTH VOICE, INITIATIVES, MOVEMENTS AND AMBITIONS.

12:00 - 12:30 Inaugural lecture by Aleksandra Szczygieł, the author of the flagship raport mentioned above
12:30 - 13:30 Discussion panel about youthwashing, where speakers and experts from different continents will discuss their experiences
Four speakers will be revealed at a later date
13:45 - 14:45 Workshop "Cases of youthwashing and how to combat them"
14:45 - 15:00 Concluding speech by Konstanty Bejm
15:00+ Optional speed friending with other participants

All attendees will receive a digital certificate of participation along a physical card shipped to them for those interested. The top three most active participants will receive a special gift package shipped to them after the event.
