In the Womb of Feronia: 10-Day Embodied Matriarchal Rituals & Eco-Somatic Research
In the Womb of Feronia is a 10-day immersive workshop dedicated to embodied ecological consciousness, ritual practice, and relational ways of knowing.
The program unfolds as a deep experiential journey through eco-somatic movement practices, collective ritual creation, and interdisciplinary artistic research, where the body is approached as an ecological intelligence — a living site of perception, memory, and relation.
At a time of ecological and cultural transition, the workshop explores practices that support re-sensitization and reconnection with the more-than-human world, cultivating forms of attention, presence, and collective awareness.
The process is informed by The Work That Reconnects, offering a spiral-based framework to navigate ecological grief, gratitude, expanded perception, and regenerative action. It is also grounded in Matriarchal Epistemologies and practices of the Maternal Gift Economy, as ways of reimagining value, care, reciprocity, and collective responsibility beyond extractive systems.
Through movement, ritual, and shared inquiry, participants are invited into an embodied exploration of ecological relationship, supported by practices that weave together somatic awareness, symbolic work, and collective intelligence.
