Fall Series Kickoff Party - F'24 Wednesday Cohort
Friends! We're thrilled to kick off your Cohort Initiation Period with an evening introducing you to the incredible friendships and experiences that lie ahead. ✨
This experience will consist of 9 weeknight gatherings, 2 weekend actives, and 1 overnight experience designed to help you and your Cohort connect meaningfully through authentic conversations and playful activities. Don't miss our opening night! 🚀
Our theme for the evening is Connection and Community. 🧐
So come ready to be open, connect with your Cohort members, and get you ready for a memorable 2~month journey ahead! 🎉
Rules for the Evening
Prepare the most interesting random fun fact you love to tell people. If you don't already have one, find a topic that you wish you knew more about, do a little research on it, and come prepared to share one fun fact with new friends. Bonus points if you have a personal connection to the fact, e.g. it's about your hometown.
As always, you can't pour yourself a drink - you can only pour drinks for someone else! Share your fun fact with a new friend to get them to pour you a drink at the event. 🥂
Come with an open heart for story-telling and connection! ✨
Things to keep in Mind
To keep this event free to attend, we're asking guests bring a beverage and/or snack of their choice to share.
This is a members-only event for those who have signed up for a Fall 2024 Cohort.
Check in is from 6:30 - 7:00pm. Please be sure to arrive by 7pm as we have some activities planned!
There will be two “Cohort Kickoff Parties”. Make sure that you register for the cohort night that you have been assigned to!
Preparing for conversations
Spend 15 mins prior to our gathering meditating on the following. Think of this as a marinade ahead of our conversations. 💭
What does 'community' mean to you personally? Consider how you've experienced it in different phases of your life, from family to friendships, workplaces, or social circles.
When was the last time you truly felt seen or understood by someone? What made that moment stand out, and what did it teach you about connection?
