"What does the future of food look like?"
This morning session, hosted by the City of Helsinki, will offer some food for thought regarding this question.
By bringing together members of the City of Helsinki's food tech and gastronomy business delegation and local experts from Tokyo, we'll be taking a look at what are some of the interesting trends and innovations in food today, what kinds of challenges will the world of food be facing in the future, and how research organisations, businesses, and public institutions can work together to create solutions to address them.
What to expect:
Keynote presentation from the City of Helsinki exploring its status as a hub for innovations in food system sustainability, resilience, and self-sufficiency
Panel discussions with speakers from Helsinki and Tokyo discussing themes like:

Science-Based Solutions for Future Food
Demonstrations of food products by members of the City of Helsinki's food tech and gastronomy -themed business delegation displaying both tradition and innovation in Helsinki's food sector
