​Session 2 - Global Health & Development Learning Circle: Exploring Human Progress together

​Note: this session 2 has been moved to one month later, so now it is on the 12th of January!

​​Join the EA Global Health & Development community for a six-part learning and discussion series based on David Nash’s course on "The History and Future of Human Progress". See here for more information on the course and its contents.

​​We’ll meet monthly on Zoom (second session: 12th of January, 19:00–20:30) to discuss one major theme each time — from vaccines and education to democracy and global governance.

​​This series is part course and part community space:
🌍 Learn through podcasts, videos, and readings at your own pace.
💭 Discuss key questions together in a relaxed, guided format.
🤝 Connect with others; from newcomers to experienced professionals, and share insights, frustrations, and creative ideas for the future of our field.

​​Each 1.5-hour session will include:

• ​​A short icebreaker;

• ​​Good news updates;

• ​​“Show & tell” of new findings in the global health and development field;

• ​​Guided discussion (3 key questions per topic);

• ​​Takeaways.

​​Who it’s for:
Anyone passionate about global health and development, whether you already work in the field, are exploring a career pivot, or simply want to deepen your understanding of how humanity has progressed and where we can do better.
