​Fusion is moving from national laboratories to commercial balance sheets. Why does Israel need to be in that race - and what will it take to build and scale a meaningful position in it?

​MILE is bringing together leaders across public policy, finance and technology to examine Israel's fusion opportunity: the strengths Israel already has, the progress made to date, the commercial and investment case, and the technology required to move from scientific promise to deployment.

​Ari Berman will welcome guests on behalf of Pillsbury. Morielle Lotan will then open the substantive program by framing why fusion matters now and the strategic questions Israel must address. Prof. Brian Rosen will discuss Israel's existing strengths in fusion, what has been built so far, and why developing a position in this sector matters strategically for Israel. This will be followed by a fireside conversation with Judie Tapia and Oded Gour-Lavie on the commercial, investment and technology path from scientific promise to deployment, hosted and moderated by Morielle.
