At an unprecedented time of methane data transparency for the energy sector, a growing ecosystem of methane data initiatives is delivering more accessible global data on methane super-emitters — a highly actionable slice of the methane challenge.
Satellite-based methane data is equipping governments and the private sector with the information they need to find and fix methane super-emitters — offering a fast, cost-effective way to address a major source of global warming. However, even with growing access to this data, action to find and fix super-emitters is still a challenge for operators and governments around the world.
