About Event

Find Your Startup Idea is a talk with open Q&A for anyone who wants to become a founder but doesn't have the right idea yet. Sebastian Schuon will cover how to spot a real problem, how to tell a good idea from a distraction, and how to test one before you commit. He'll draw on the successes and failures of his own companies.

Topics include:
• What makes a good idea: one people will pay for, that fits you and your team, and that can take you where you want to be in 10 years
• Practical ways to generate ideas and filter them
• Validation: how to get real signal from customers (meaning signed contracts, not just friendly conversations) and when to pivot
• Common pitfalls in ideation and validation

We ask participants to bring their questions and any idea they're currently weighing.

About Sebastian
Sebastian Schuon is a serial founder and angel investor with two decades of experience building companies. He co-founded Stylight, which exited for €80M, and Alasco, which has raised a €35M Series B. As an angel, he was the first investor in Personio and a founding angel of Luminovo. Today he runs Schub, a venture studio and accelerator that helps ambitious entrepreneurs build, learn from experienced founders, and grow fast.
