Venture Lab Speaker Session: Welcoming Ho Nam

​The public-facing speaker program of USC Venture Capital’s (USCVC) graduate-level Venture Lab course, the series brings leading venture capital investors, operators, and industry experts to campus for moderated conversations exploring the ideas, strategies, and dynamics shaping the venture capital ecosystem.

​This Thursday, we’re thrilled to welcome Ho Nam, a pioneering investor and one of the venture capital industry’s most distinguished long-term thinkers.

​Ho is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Altos Ventures, a longstanding Silicon Valley venture capital firm recognized for its patient, fundamentals-driven investment philosophy. Founded in 1996, Altos has carved out a distinctive position in the venture ecosystem, growing to over $10 billion in assets under management and 250+ portfolio companies, with investments in category-defining businesses including Roblox, Coupang, and KRAFTON (PUBG). Before Altos, Ho began his venture career at Trinity Ventures after roles at Bain & Company, Silicon Graphics, and Octel Communications.
