Gather bagels from Zucker's, Apollo, Utopia, and H&H. Spread a blanket in Central Park and hold a blind taste test to crown the best bagel in NYC. Then snuggle up with matcha and listen to The Daily.
🫖 Grandma at Heart
To become an official Grandma at Heart, you must prove you belong. Meet in the kitchen at 1:00 PM on Saturday, wearing your coziest sweater. You'll be tasked with mastering a new crochet stitch, winning a game of Mahjong, and, finally, identifying three birds in Central Park. Upon successful completion, you'll earn full membership and a celebratory tea service with cookies.
🛏️ A Night at The Johnson Inn
Welcome to the The Johnson Inn — Chelsea's newest 5 star hotel. Check-in will be available on Sunday, in the living room, at precisely 5:37 PM. The night will begin with a foot soak, accompanied by Taylor Swift's greatest hits. Then, join us in the dining room for a charcuterie board and red wine. Finally, as night falls, enjoy hot chocolate on the patio, while gazing at the stars.

Is there anything I need to prep?
Nope.
Is there anything I need to bring?
If you have a laptop, bring it. It'll be helpful for doing light research as you plan your date idea. We'll provide all other materials you’ll need.
Should I attend with my partner?
Up to you. Attend by yourself to design a total surprise. Or, if you're both excited about this event, come together and you can each create a surprise for the other.
Would this work for a second or third date?
No. This for established relationships. Many of the concepts draw on your shared memories.
How long will the date I plan be?
Most dates that folks design are 2-4 hours, but you can make yours as short or long as you'd like. The goal isn't to plan every minute of the day — it's to curate an experience your partner will talk about for years.
What if I'm "bad" at planning dates?
Wanting to make your partner smile is enough! We'll provide prompts, templates, and guidance, so all you'll need is a willingness to reflect on what you love about your partner.
What if we have kids or can't easily leave the house?
That's okay. We'll share plenty of ideas that can be done at home.
How does the satisfaction guarantee work?
If you don't leave the workshop with a date idea you love, we'll give you a full refund.
What's the cancellation policy?
All sales are final. If something comes up and you can no longer attend, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.
