Signature Gathering in Downtown Alameda
Join us to gather signatures for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!
We will meet on the corner of Santa Clara Ave. & Park Ave. in front of the Citibank at 11am for a quick training and to hand out petition supplies. Then we'll fan out along Park St. to gather signatures.
Everyone is welcome to be there for the whole time or just pop by to help for a bit, get packets & training so you can collect signatures at a later time (and return your completed petition packets another day).
To see the most friendly faces and to join the group training session, plan to meet at the event start time. But if you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones. Just look for the folks on Park St. gathering signatures! Your RSVP is helpful either way.
No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. Event hosted by Seamless Bay Area and Transbay Coalition in support of Connect Bay Area Transit.
