Future of Canadian Gov Unconference - Organizing Party
🇨🇦 Un-Conference Organizing Party: Shaping the Future of Canada’s Public Service
Canada’s public service is at a turning point.
Not if it needs to change, but how and who gets to help shape it.
This spring, we’re working toward a national Un-Conference on the Future of Government in Canada:
a full day of ideas, conversations, and co-creation about what the public service needs to become and how we get there.
Before that happens, we’re gathering a small crew to help build it.
Do you care about the future of the public service?
Curious about organizing events or want to grow those skills?
Then this Organizing Party is for you.
🎉 What is the Organizing Party?
An open, collaborative working session to:
Clarify the purpose and vision of the Un-Conference
Sketch the shape of the day and how it might work
Set next steps: date, location, promotion, light facilitation
Form a loose organizing group to move it forward
After that, it’s mostly about picking a date, spreading the word, and making it happen.
No heavy bureaucracy.
No complex machinery.
Just people who care, building something useful together.
No title required.
No event experience needed.
Just bring your ideas, questions, and whatever you’ve been carrying around about the future of the public service.
The future won’t be handed to us.
We build it. Together. 🌱
