The Company Brain: One Source of Truth for Your AI and Your Team
🎟 Mentor Session Alert!
Your AI was sharp in week one. Now it forgets what you told it, contradicts itself, and answers from last quarter's documents. Usually the model is fine. The sources went bad: uploaded copies that went stale, documents with no date or source, rules that only live in chat history, and a separate brain for every person on the team instead of one for the company.
In this 90-minute mentor session, Smári Ásmundsson, founder of NØRSE CØDE and Nordic Navigators, shows how to build a company brain: one source of truth that your AI and your team both read from, kept in storage you own. He runs his own CPG brand on more than a hundred scheduled AI jobs, and he'll tour the structure of the brain behind it (the business documents stay off screen).
His rule is short. The files are the asset; the app is the reader. Build the brain once, and Claude, ChatGPT or whatever comes next can read it.
✅ What this session is: a practical build. Smári tours his own company brain, then builds one for a demonstration company: the folder shape, what goes in and what stays out, a stamp on every document, and access tiers for your team.
❌ What this session isn't: a coding session or a pitch for one platform. He works in Claude, Dropbox and Google Drive, and compares Notion, Obsidian and GitHub. The brain is plain files, so ChatGPT can read it too.
🧑💻 Who should join?
Early-stage founders and business owners whose AI forgets context or gives a different answer each time they ask
Agency leads juggling client knowledge across writers, contractors and a pile of shared folders
Teams where everyone built their own private setup in Claude or ChatGPT, and nobody's answers match
Anyone who has uploaded the same brand doc to five different chats and still gets last quarter's numbers back
Built for beginner and intermediate users. If you use Claude or ChatGPT every week, you'll keep up. No code needed.
📚 What you'll learn:
Why an agent that was sharp in week one gets worse, and the four causes behind it
What goes in the brain, what stays out, and what belongs behind a live connector instead of a copy
How to stamp every document with owner, date and source, so each answer the AI gives names the document it came from
How to give a team access by tier, so a writer or contractor reads what their work needs and nothing else
How to keep it true: an inbox that files itself overnight, dates that flag stale documents, and one place to change a rule
Google Drive, Dropbox, Notion, Obsidian and GitHub compared as a home for the brain, with what each is good and bad at
🔧 The rule: the files are the asset, the app is the reader
A brain that lives inside one vendor's account is a brain you rent. Switch tools, or lose a teammate's login, and the context goes with it. Smári keeps the brain as plain files in storage the company already pays for, and lets whichever AI you use read from there.
The same setup is what makes a team work. One brain per company, read in tiers, means a contractor's AI sees the brief and the brand standards. It doesn't see the margins. And when you change a rule, the system shows you every page that still breaks it, so you fix it or approve the exception.
You'll see the difference live: the same question asked twice, once in a blank chat and once against the brain, with both answers side by side.

The Team ⏱️ 0:40 to 0:50 | Access by tier. Giving a writer or contractor exactly what their work needs
Keeping It True ⏱️ 0:50 to 1:00 | The inbox that files itself overnight, the date that tells you a document has gone stale, and how one rule change gets checked against every page

ℹ️ About Our Mentor: Smári Ásmundsson has spent 15 years in CPG. He took Smári Organics, his Icelandic skyr brand, to national retail in tens of thousands of stores, including Whole Foods, Costco and Kroger. Today he's building NØRSE CØDE, a plant protein powder made in its own Petaluma facility, and the brand runs on more than a hundred scheduled AI jobs. Through Nordic Navigators, he helps seven- and eight-figure CPG brands put AI to work, using the same systems he runs his own brand on. He also teaches the AI CPG Workshop, a four-week live program where CPG teams build their own AI tools, starting with a company brain.
