Lunch & Learn: Project Planet
Tegan Lerm co-founded Project Planet after the Black Summer bushfires showed her how much public attention goes to waste when there's no clear way to direct it. Since then, Tegan and co-founder Lizzie Hedding have embarked on building the tools and resources that turn public attention into participation. Their first tool, Build a Ballot, helped almost 600,000 Australians plan their vote for the last federal election. In the coming months, the Project Planet team has two more exciting launches: The Share Plate, a publication and podcast launching in September, and Build a Ballot for the Victorian election in November. Come hear the story behind it all, and what's next.
