Bitrig Hacks: iPhone Duo Edition

Join us for an afternoon of building for iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable iPhone.
We're bringing together Apple developers, designers, founders, and students to explore what clever things can be built to take advantage of the new device.
The goal is to find something newly possible and make it real enough to demo. This could mean building a new app or adding a new feature to an existing app.
Lunch, snacks, prizes, and great company included.

Eligibility
Participate solo or with a team. We recommend working in groups, and we're happy to help you form a team if you're coming on your own.
This is an in-person event in San Francisco. You must be able to attend on-site to participate.
Attendees must be 16 or older.

What to Build
Projects should use Apple's newly released APIs for iPhone Duo to build something that would not have been as compelling, or even possible, before.
Entries do not need to be complete end-to-end apps. A polished demo is enough.
iPhone Duo doesn't ship until October 23, so we'll be building with the iPhone Duo simulator in the Xcode 27.1 beta. We also added some special iPhone Duo support to Bitrig for the occasion.
Participants are encouraged to brainstorm project ideas before the event. Apple's iPhone Duo developer page (developer.apple.com/iphone-duo/) is a great place to start.
Rules
All code must be created at the hackathon.
Preparing design assets ahead of time is fine.
Participants are not required to use Bitrig.
Judging
The top entries will demo live at the end of the event, and judges will select winners from those demos.
Judges will look for projects that make creative, thoughtful use of iPhone Duo's new APIs and show something meaningfully new.
