Bitrig Hacks: iPhone 18 Edition
Join us for another afternoon of hacking, this time to make apps for Apple’s newly announced iPhones. Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for our WWDC hackathon.
We’re bringing together Apple developers, designers, founders, and students to explore what clever things can be built to take advantage of what's possible with the new hardware.
The goal is not to build a complete app. The goal is to find something newly possible and make it real enough to demo.
Lunch, snacks, prizes, and great company included.

Eligibility
Participate solo or with a team. We recommend working in groups, and we’re happy to help you form a team if you’re coming on your own.
This is an in-person event in San Francisco. You must be able to attend on-site to participate.
Attendees must be 16 or older.

What to Build
Projects should use Apple’s newly released APIs to build something that would not have been as compelling, or even possible, before.
Entries do not need to be complete end-to-end apps. A polished demo is enough.
Participants are encouraged to brainstorm project ideas before the event.
Rules
All code must be created at the hackathon.
Preparing design assets ahead of time is fine.
Participants are not required to use Bitrig, but there will be a prize for the best project created in Bitrig.
Judging
The top entries will demo live at the end of the event, and judges will select winners from those demos.
Judges will look for projects that make creative, thoughtful use of Apple’s newly released APIs and show something meaningfully new.

Judges and prizes will be announced soon! There will also be giveaways to all attendees.
