​Beyond Where We’re From: An Evening on Culture and Curiosity

​This is one of Nafsi's anti-networking nights at Mishkah, where you'll leave knowing people, not job titles. Come find familiar faces and meet new ones. This is a room worth coming back to. The only rule is, till the end of the talk no one asks a participant what they do for a living.

​We all carry a culture, and when cultures meet without curiosity or humility, the result is often distance, misunderstanding, and stereotypes that flatten people into categories rather than seeing them whole. This evening we explore what it means to be genuinely curious about someone whose world was shaped differently from yours, and why that curiosity might be one of the most powerful bridges we have.
