Beyond the Facts: How to Argue When Reality is Contested - Masterclass with Monica Forman (MA)
Our societies are more polarized than ever—but can we still have meaningful, persuasive conversations with people who occupy an entirely different reality?
Following previous Think & Drink talks on populism and disinformation, this 4-hour masterclass puts you in the room with real disagreements and gives you practical, battle-tested tools to handle difficult conversations at work, in your community, or over the dinner table. (And yes, light drinks and snacks are on the house!)
The 3 Core Shifts You'll Master
Rethink the Argument: Gain a fresh perspective on everyday disagreements to make them far more productive and less frustrating.
Argue Strategically: Map complex disagreements, focus on the battles that actually matter, and ask questions that open minds rather than shut them down.
Meet Them Where They Stand: Learn to understand opposing views deeply enough to persuade people on their terms—not just yours.
