ZuLit: history of suburbia & relation to popup villages

History of the suburb model
- People love to hate on the suburb, but it has a fascinating history that takes us to 18th century London
- We’ll look at the conditions it emerged from and how it has scaled over the last few hundred years
- Implications for startup / charter cities, popup villages, network states (ish)

❓ How these sessions work?
Instead of a book, I'd like to try something that involves no lengthy preparation but still involve an interesting discussion & celebrates the intellectual curiosity within Zuzalu.

How does it work?
1. Host shares topic options that host has been geeking out on
2. ZuLit people vote on the topic
3. Host prepares something simple (can be a 1-pager, article, presentation, etc) prior to the discussion session
4. We meet to discuss. At the end of the session we select the new host and they start from #1.
