Women Building: FemVed x Ugenie ·
Edition 01: The Art of Resilience

A morning gathering for women building businesses, created for an insightful and candid conversation about what sustains us, what depletes us, and how we define success on our own terms.

Entrepreneurship brings uncertainty, responsibility and personal demands, often alongside considerable ambition. Coming just after Menopause Awareness Month, the conversation also makes room for women's health and hormonal rhythms as part of a wider discussion about resilience, adaptability and sustainable performance.

What you'll leave with

  • Clarity: a fresh perspective on a challenge, decision or ambition.

  • Practical insight: something useful to take into your working week, informed by experience, science and new perspectives.

  • Meaningful connections: introductions with real potential for collaboration, support or shared opportunity.

  • Inspiration: a renewed sense of possibility and a more considered understanding of resilience, including recovery, health and knowing when to adapt.

The morning

  • Arrival and breakfast, with informal introductions

  • Welcome and framing

  • The realities of building: a candid conversation with Susan Kabani, who has spent the past 17 years building businesses. Today she’s founder and CEO of Ugenie and co-founder of MemberIQ, and she’ll share the unfiltered side of founder life, plus what years of working with communities have taught her about what keeps people (and businesses) going.

  • Resilience, science and perspective: Natalie Smyth on stress, recovery, adaptation and women's health, with the FemVed perspective from Aditi Ayare

  • The value of community: what makes a community valuable, and how women can create opportunities for one another

  • Connections and exchange: a guided space to share something you are looking for and something you could offer

Coffee and Croissants available for purchase.
