Curious Walking Club is a global, recurring 5K+ walking ritual started by Hien Nguyen, our founder, under Friends of Screate Labs in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing founders, builders, and curious minds together across cities.
Every Thursday, we walk 5K+, meet interesting people, and let the conversations happen naturally.
​Walk. Talk. Meet interesting people. Repeat.
​No panels. No awkward networking. No fixed agenda.
​Each walk starts with a question to get things moving: What changed your mind recently?
​Past walks have wandered into:
• building companies from scratch
• moving cities and finding community
• AI, creativity, and the future of work
• unconventional careers and personal experiments
• the stories behind what people are building
​The route changes. The people change. The conversations are the destination.

​Founders, builders, operators, creatives, researchers, and curious people who enjoy thoughtful conversations beyond traditional networking.
​We keep the gate low, but curate the room. You don't need to be a founder or have a polished LinkedIn. We look for curiosity, agency, and evidence that you're actively doing something.
​If your profile doesn't tell us much, tell us what you're working on, building, exploring, or curious about right now. You can also show your contribution through action, bringing people who fit, introducing someone interesting, or helping activate Curious Walking Club.
​​🚶 From one walk to a global network
​Friends of Screate Labs is a global network by Screate Labs of founders, builders, operators, creators, and curious minds connected through shared experiences, rituals, and meaningful relationships.
​Curious Walking Club is how we bring people together.
​It started in Ho Chi Minh City on July 27, 2026 with Hien and a few friends. Six weeks later, the ritual had traveled to Singapore, Bengaluru, with Hanoi, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Sydney, and more.
​The idea is simple: give interesting people a reason to meet in real life.
​Every city has its own people, host, route, and rhythm. But the ritual stays the same: walk 5K+, have good conversations, and see who you meet along the way.
​The ritual travels. People meet locally. The network stays connected globally.
​​​🇦🇺 Why Melbourne?
​I naturally have a lot of friends in Melbourne, so… why not?
​Now we're curious whether Melbourne has enough local energy to get started.
​We're looking for 20+ people who genuinely want to show up for the first walk — and a local host who wants to help make it happen.
​And if you join, don't just come once. Come back. Bring someone interesting. Help make the ritual stick.

​For now, this is an interest list. We'll use the next week or two to see whether there's enough real local energy to make the first walk happen.
​If the signal is strong, we'll confirm a host, pick a route, announce the first walk, and get moving.
