Kube Star Party 2026

​Join us in another edition of Kube Star Party. Every year the Kube Coworking comunity get together for two nights of stargazing, and this year the event is also open to non-members.

​This is a great opportunity to experience two nights under the stars in the amazing darks skies of Alqueva Lake in Alentejo! Stargazing basics with the naked eye and binoculars, observation with a powerfull reflector telescope, astroportraits and astrophotography with smartphones.

​The Host

​I’m David Cruz, designer by day and astrophotographer by night. During these two nights I will guide you through the night sky and teach you the basics of stargazing, identify constellations, deep-sky objects, and give you an introduction into astrophotography with smartphones.

Program

NIGHT 1 Friday - 10 July

• ​Meet up in Sorte Verde Tourism.

• ​Stargazing session, observation with binoculars, deep-sky observation with telescope, astro-portraits.

NIGHT 2 Saturday - 11 July

• ​Meet up in Parque de Merendas, Alqueva Lake.

• ​Stargazing session and astrophotography workshop with digital cameras and smart phones (you’ll need a small tripod to stabilise you phone during long exposures).
  

​CHECKOUT Sunday - 12 July

• ​Checkout at Sorte Verde Tourism for those staying in the event place.
  
  

​This is a free event for Kube members.
You can bring a friend or family!

​For non members the price is 45€ per person.

​For kid's the event is free.

!Accommodation is not included!
You need to book your own accommodation. Check the event website for recomended accommodations.
