Pointless Argument Club: Round Two
Where hills worth dying on get a proper debate.
Back by popular demand — The Commons' Pointless Argument Club returns for its second edition! Come armed with your most passionately-held, utterly inconsequential opinions and defend them like your life depends on it (it doesn't).
Is a hot dog a sandwich? Should pineapple be anywhere near a pizza? Is cereal a soup? We don't know either, but we're going to argue about it for two hours.
📅 When: Saturday, August 29 · 2:00–4:00 PM
📍 Where: Teetoturle
💸 Cost: Free! (but please come support the venue by buying their delicious mocktails 🍹)
👥 Capacity: Capped at 20, so first come, first (pointlessly) served
🎤 Hosted by: Rachel
What to expect:
Structured chaos — think debate club energy, minus the stakes
A room full of strangers who will absolutely die on the hill of "is a hotdog a sandwich"
No prep needed, just strong feelings and a sense of humor
New faces, new friends, zero winners (everyone loses, that's the point)
Entry's free, but Teetoturle is hosting us out of the goodness of their heart — grab a mocktail or two while you're there and help keep the venue happy to have us back.
Spots are limited to 20 — RSVP now before all the good arguments are taken.
