About Event
Mano a Mano is a free one-on-one tutoring and mentorship program that supports children in achieving their educational and personal goals. While many participants are English as a second language learners, the program is open to everyone, including students who need extra support with reading, writing, homework, or building confidence in school.
As a volunteer, you will tutor and mentor the same student each week, providing individualized support, encouragement, and a positive learning experience. Lesson materials, training, and ongoing guidance are provided, so no teaching experience is required—just a desire to help others succeed.
