Meet Your Expert: Melissa Plourde is a licensed social worker and certified geriatric care manager with over 30 years of experience helping families navigate the complexities of aging, dementia, and end-of-life journeys. As a Sam Expert, she combines her clinical background in behavioral health with a deep, personal understanding of the caregiving path.
Having raised a child with challenges as a single mother and supported many loved ones through life's transitions, Melissa knows firsthand that self-care is not optional—it is essential. She serves as a warm, trusted partner to help you find balance and purpose, ensuring you leave empowered to care for yourself as deeply as you care for others.
