​About AWARE:

​AWARE Singapore, which stands for the Association of Women for Action and Research, is Singapore's leading non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to advocating for women's rights and gender equality. It works to remove gender-based barriers through research, education, and social services to help individuals reach their full potential. 

​What this learning journey covers:
Create space to surface problem statements directly from end users (e.g., case managers, counsellors) and the executive director, Corinna Lim, especially in areas like:

​1. Sexual assault case management: what happens after a report, where cases break down, pain points around evidence (documentation), coordination with govt agencies like SPF.

​2. Bystander effect: how first responses happen, what makes people hesitate, and how tech or systems could empower safer or earlier intervention.
