CHOMP THE OLIGARCHY With The Florida For Us Slate
Under Ron Desantis and his cronies, Florida has become a playground for an unaccountable boomer elite of consultants, executives, and donors that have run our state with impunity. Ordinary Floridians have been left to fend for themselves in a state that is among the hardest hit by authoritarian rule and the cost-of-living crisis. At every opportunity, Florida’s ruling politicians have ignored real problems and instead made them worse.
Enough is enough. We demand a Florida For Us. Florida should not only work for the billionaires who vacation here or the corporations looking for a tax haven. It should work for us, working-class Floridians who make this state run. Florida For Us is a new vision for the future of Florida, one that delivers for the people that call it home.
Building a Florida for Us means electing champions like Elijah Manley (FL-20) and Oliver Larkin (FL-25) on August 18th to Fight for Us in Congress.
On Friday, August 14th, we are bringing together voters, creators, leaders, and organizers in Wilton Manors for a rally to hear from the candidates themselves, as well as national progressive icons supporting the Florida for Us Slate!
Beforehand, we'll be canvassing neighborhoods across Broward County for Elijah and Oliver and we invite you to join us.
Food and drinks will be provided while supplies last. Alcoholic beverages will only be served to those 21+, though the event is open to all ages. Valet parking is available at no cost.
