Great Great: A Qing Ming-Inspired Dinner Party
Join Chapter and Tiny Dinner for Great Great, a Qing Ming-themed dinner party where we'll celebrate our ancestors in all their flawed glory!
Our curated dinner menu includes:
Wild Mannered - all natural cocktails with a soju and wine base in three flavors: Strawberry Basil, Cucumber Lime Mint, Pineapple Ginger
A selection of delicacies from Nom Wah Tea Parlor, the oldest continuously running restaurant in Chinatown, including:
Peking Duck Bao & Mushroom Bao
Shrimp & Pork dumplings & Edamame dumplings
Veggie Chow Mein
Chinese Greens & Smashed Cucumber Salad
Throughout the evening, you will:
Hear storytellers share short, irreverent tales about their Great and Great Great Grandparents (volunteer to tell a story when you register).
Play "musical tables" throughout the evening, with new dishes and conversation themes at each table.
Learn about Qing Ming traditions, and honor your ancestors at an altar created in partnership with award-winning artist Anh Nguyen
Dinner will be hosted at the beautiful new Welcome to Chinatown Hub, a 2,500 sq ft space built to host community programs and bolster local businesses.
