We are very excited to announce our next event in our “Inform: Stay Informed” series of business conversations!

Our focus for November is “Owning Your Structure”.

Structuring a new business or making amendments to your Ownership Structure, for whatever the reason, is filled with very specific requirements and considerations. The statutory requirements, choosing the correct juristic format of shareholding entities, ensuring your Shareholders Agreements and MOI are drafted correctly can be a mind field to navigate. It is critical that everything is done correctly and aligned to our Legislative frameworks from the onset to ensure you achieve the required outcomes and all parties are protected.

Speakers

John Rankin – With a BPsych (Registered Counsellor) degree and over 17 Years’ worth of experience in Transformation and Development work. This experience includes Individual, Youth, Community and Business advancement through bespoke transformation solutions. Previously having worked at a SANAS accredited B-BBEE Verification Agency and as a B-BBEE Consultant John has extensive experience and knowledge in the industry. He currently fills role of Business Development Manager and B-BBEE Specialist at Engeli Enterprise Development.
Matthew Kemp – Matthew is the Director of the Litigations & Labour Law Department. Matthew attended Alexander Road High School and obtained his LLB degree from NMU. He has also obtained his Masters in Labour Law (cum laude). Matthew is known to go the extra mile for clients and is highly regarding in the industry.
