Canadian Life Sciences Networking Reception
Discover what's next in life sciences, north of the border.
Join us at the Canadian Consulate General in New York for an evening connecting US life sciences leaders with fifteen innovative Canadian companies spanning biotech, medtech, digital health, and life sciences services. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Hosted by the Ontario Trade & Investment Office and the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, in partnership with Aird & Berlis LLP and Marani Law LLP.
The event has three components:
Networking Reception (5:00 - 7:00 PM) Drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and remarks from representatives of the governments of Ontario and Canada, Aird & Berlis LLP, and Marani Law LLP. You'll hear about Canada's life sciences ecosystem and the value proposition for foreign companies looking to expand, invest, or partner north of the border.
Meet the Companies: Fifteen Canadian life sciences companies are in New York this week as part of the Canadian Life Sciences Trade Mission to NYC & NJ. Spanning biotech, medtech, digital health, and life sciences services, these companies were selected to represent the breadth and depth of Canada's growing life sciences ecosystem.
FemmeBright Health, HDAX Therapeutics, Eurofins CDMO Alphora, Healthyher.Life, Spectrum Medical Diagnostics, MEMOTEXT, OmniaBio, Covar Pharmaceuticals, Rocket Doctor, Intrepid Labs, NuraLogix, Cancard Inc, Mesh AI, YYZ Pharmatech, and 49care.
A directory with details on each company is attached at the bottom of this description and in your confirmation e-mail.
Company Pitches (6:00 - 7:00 PM) Participating companies will deliver short pitches in a dedicated room. Open to all guests.
Private 1:1 Meetings (5:00 - 7:00 PM) Ten-minute private meetings with participating companies are available for those interested in procuring, partnering with, or investing in these companies. Spots are limited. If this applies to you, please indicate your preferred company(ies) when you register.
Whether you're exploring new vendors, research collaborators, licensing opportunities, or simply expanding your network across the border, this is a chance to connect with companies you won't find at a typical NYC event.
Canada offers foreign Life Science companies a compelling value proposition for expansion, R&D investment, and clinical trials, including competitive R&D tax incentives, a deep talent pipeline, universal healthcare data sets, and proximity to the US market. Representatives from the Ontario Trade & Investment Office and the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service will be on hand to discuss how your company can leverage Canada's life sciences ecosystem to grow.
