For twenty years, a stopwatch decided what Yvette Kong was worth. She swam for Hong Kong at the 2016 Olympic Games, later lectured at MIT, and has spent the years since asking what was true about her that no clock ever caught.
《量外有人 · The Unmeasured Human》 is the book she wrote to answer that — a memoir of mental resilience, identity, and being human in the age of AI.
As AI reshapes work, learning, and creativity, the question gets harder to avoid: what helps us stay resilient, connected, and fully alive, when so much of us can now be measured, scored, or automated?
On 10 October — World Mental Health Day — we're gathering to talk about it. Every ticket is a copy. It reads like a book club. It doesn't stay one.
