Human Sciences in Strategy invites you to join us in Turku for a practical AI workshop day.
You've heard the hype. You've probably tried ChatGPT, maybe felt underwhelmed, maybe felt overwhelmed, possibly both in the same session. This afternoon is for you. We'll get hands-on and learn together what it means to think with AI.

13:30 — Session 1: Anna Haverinen: AI tools, cognitive biases, and thinking with AI (~1 hour)

14:45 — Session 2: Sohvi Silius: Vibe coding and prototyping as a way to present research results (~1 hour)

We’ll have two workshops and a group discussion to share observations and learnings.
Anna Haverinen will show in her presentation, how biases affect models – and ourselves. Biases are inherently human, and possibly the root cause for intuition. But biases can also lead you into wrong directions, and AI will not help you recognise your own tunnel vision. We'll compare how different models reason, respond, and occasionally hallucinate with confidence, and you'll leave with a practical way to evaluate tools on your own terms.
Sohvi Silius will showcase how you can use vibe coding to create more engaging research deliverables. Instead of delivering a 50-page slide deck, what if you created an interactive prototype to communicate your recommendations? Sohvi will share her own experiences with vibe coding, and guide you through a practical exercise. No coding expertise is needed - if you can read and write, you have enough skills to get started!
We’ll also have time for informal group discussions at the end. We can discuss for example what AI is great for, what we’re worried about, and where AI might take our professions.
Meet our experts:
Anna Haverinen, PhD., is a Lead AI Designer at Gofore and a leadership coach and trainer in her own Havainna Consulting agency. She has a long professional background as a Design Anthropologist and Strategist, bridging anthropological know-how to business, strategy, and product design.
Sohvi Silius is User Insights Lead at Yousician, and an independent consultant through her own company Silius Insights. She is specialized in AI in UX/customer research. Sohvi has been actively experimenting with AI and contributing to the field's development in Finland and internationally.
Practicalities
If you come from Helsinki, take the 10:35 train (Helsinki - Turku Keskusta). It should get you there on time (if VR allows). A few HUMANS people have booked their seats in Coach 6 (seats 11 and 7, for example). You can book your seat there if you want to chat during the train ride.
Remember to bring your laptop, since we’ll be doing hands-on practice with AI tools.
