Sacred Activist Potluck in the Park
You are invited to join Brooklyn Center for Sacred Activism for a special gathering of folks exploring what it means to organize for justice from a spiritually-rooted place.
Every month, we gather for a potluck meal, contemplative practice, and sacred conversation for the sake of nourishing the movements we're part of. This month, we're bringing our practice to the park and we'd love for you to join!
The flow:
6pm meditation
6:30-8pm picnic dinner and mingling, shared reflection, and song
Come if:
You're a seeker, dreamer, activist, or someone longing to co-create a more beautiful world in a way that integrates mind, body, and heart with real action.
You’re asking the big questions about how you are called to make change in this hurting world.
You know that traditional ways of organizing need to look and feel different.
Come to find out more about Brooklyn Center for Sacred Activism and how we’re practicing ways to infuse our movements with more courage, creativity, and community.
Please bring a dish, dessert, or beverage to share, or just come as you are. We'll have a few folding chairs and blankets available, but please bring what will help you feel most comfortable, e.g. cushion, chair, blanket, etc.
