About Event

What is the next frontier after SWE is solved?

Welcome to the Complex Worlds Hackathon hosted by General Reasoning in partnership with Entrepreneurs First and Air Street Capital.

Participants will build long-horizon reinforcement learning environments that test frontier models in complex worlds. We’re looking for new playgrounds for intelligence that push the capabilities of models to their limits.

Things we’re looking for:

  • Long Horizon - hundreds-thousands of tool calls before an agent completes an episode.

  • Capability Tangent - environments that require new capabilities that only emerge at long horizons, such as long-term planning and dealing with non-stationarity.

  • Hard but Tractable - we want the tasks you make to be really hard….but still solvable!

Prizes will be given to the winners (announced soon!).

Top judges and speakers from leading labs and startups - also announced soon!

Note: This event is an in-person event in London. Space is limited. All participants should submit an application: https://forms.gle/z3X47AW3wognikve7

Participants will be provided with material prior to the event for how to build environments on OpenReward.
