Imposter syndrome doesn't exist
A gathering for women who are ready to stop managing their self-doubt — and start understanding where it actually came from.
We're coming together to watch Ruth's TEDx talk, then go deeper in a live workshop. To talk self-belief. Visibility. The stories we've inherited about our own capability. What it actually costs to keep editing yourself before you speak. What becomes possible when you finally stop.
This is not a panel. Not a performance. Just a real room of remarkable women, telling the truth about what it's like to lead in systems that weren't built for them — and doing the work of beginning to rewrite that from the inside out.
Expect recognition. Honesty. Laughter. And the beginning of a different relationship with yourself.
Led by Ruth Penfold, founder of Bloom and Women Who Lead.
Please note we will be taking pictures and recording elements of the event.
This session is for you if:
You've achieved everything you were supposed to and still feel like you're waiting to be found out
You sit in rooms full of people less qualified than you and still wonder if you deserve to be there
You edit yourself before you speak, replay it after, and are exhausted by both
You know something needs to change — you're just not sure yet what it is
You're ready to understand why the doubt was never really yours — and to do something about it
Special guest joining the conversation:
Clarissa Sowemimo-Coker — former CEO and visionary operator, here to share her lived experience of leading from the truth of who she is, with and within boards and at the highest levels of organisational life
Hosted by Bloom — a leadership consultancy and accelerator helping women lead with authenticity, self-trust, and strategy, founded by Ruth Penfold.
