Francesco Bonafine

Francesco Bonafine has 17 years of experience in digital marketing with direct experience in IBM and Google. He spent 7 years working for Google in account management and sales management roles around the world (Ireland-Italy-US-Philippines). During that period, he was part of the Product Management Team for Google AdWords Express. In 2017, Francesco founded the Digital Marketing Agency “Digital Nomads Hong Kong” – Official Google And Meta Partner. In 2024 Digital Nomads Hong Kong received the One-Star SME award from the City University of Hong Kong as recognition of achievement in corporate innovation. He is a public speaker for the HKTDC, the HKGCC, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of HK and Macau and several large Hong Kong co-working spaces.
Farida Chan
Associate Director of Partnerships & Innovation SEA, Wati
Farida is experienced in SaaS, conversational commerce/AI, and growth. With a founder background, she launched a search engine platform in 2020 that aggregated Hong Kong SMBs using a unique verification logic. Even at that early stage, she leveraged WhatsApp API and automation for merchant recruitment and onboarding, shortly after the API was first introduced.
She later joined a venture builder in Hong Kong, advising startups and businesses on growth hacking and product development, before moving to Wati where she focuses on partnerships and product innovation.
Farida has also served as a guest lecturer for the Marketing Communications undergraduate program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
