​This free, hands-on workshop is a chance to sharpen your salon skills, strengthen your DoubleBook profile, and connect with other assistants.

​Whether you’re getting ready for your first assisting job or have already completed a few, we’ll explore what salon professionals look for when booking an assistant, and how you can show up feeling prepared.

​What we’ll cover:

​💇‍♀️ Hands-on salon skills
Practice skills like blow-drying front hairlines and shampooing techniques, and talk through what professionals need from an assistant during a busy salon day.

​📸 DoubleBook profile support
We’ll review profiles together and help you highlight your skills, experience, and personality so professionals can get a clearer picture of what you bring to their salon.

​💬 Questions, feedback, and conversation
Ask questions about assisting jobs, share your experiences on DoubleBook, and tell us what would help you feel more prepared and supported.
