York the week before Christmas: the walls, the Shambles, the Christmas market, the Minster, and a long dinner in a city built for walking. Goes ahead at twelve bookings, confirmed by 30 October. Deposit back in full if not.
If this is your first time in York, it's a great way of seeing the city with a group of new friends.
The main weekend runs Saturday to Sunday, with Friday evening as an optional add-on. Please indicate which you'd like to join while booking.

The details
Price: £249 for Saturday and Sunday. Friday evening is an optional add-on at £50.
To book: a £50 deposit secures your place. The balance is due once the weekend is confirmed.
Where to stay: Book your own. Inside the walls or near the station is easiest. Choose a room you can cancel until 30 October, when the weekend is confirmed.
Getting there: From London King's Cross (LNER): approx. 2h to York. Direct from Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
