Shoshin: A Matcha Program (W. Naka Matcha)
Description
Join Blackwater RC + Naka in returning to familiar things with a beginner’s mind.
SHOSHIN: A MATCHA PROGRAM is an exercise in letting go of what we already know and giving our attention to what is in front of us. Running, breathing, preparing tea, and drinking each move at their own pace, yet ask for the same attention to the present.
Led by Naka, runners will explore matcha through tasting and preparing a bowl of their own. From the movement of the body to the smaller movements of the hands, the practice is simply to notice what unfolds.
Suitable for runners of all experience levels.
