The Finance & Strategy Community of Bereisheet Tech is excited to launch its activity and invite community members to our very first event, marking the official kickoff of 2026.
First and foremost, this gathering is designed to bring the community together. It is an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and build meaningful professional relationships within the finance and strategy ecosystem.
The event will feature a curated panel of distinguished speakers who will share insights on the global macro-financial landscape, key trends shaping the year ahead, and what to expect in 2026 from both a strategic and financial perspective. The discussion will also explore the evolving role of the CFO amid ongoing technological and market turbulence.

The event will be conducted entirely in Hebrew. Future events may also be held in English.

Galia Beer-Gabel, Managing Partner at Team8
Galia partners with founders to ideate, build, and scale innovative fintech startups. With a strong foundation in business development and strategic leadership, Galia brings a wealth of experience from her career at PayPal, where she spearheaded initiatives across sub-Saharan Africa, Israel, and Eastern Europe. At PayPal, she led enterprise sales, product innovation, and groundbreaking partnerships, including the transformative collaboration with M-PESA, which expanded financial access for millions in Kenya.
Galia began her career practicing commercial law at Amit, Pollack, Matalon & Co. where she established the firm’s business development and legal marketing department. Her unique blend of legal acumen and business insight has made her a trusted advisor to early-stage ventures navigating complex markets.
Benny Vazana, CFO
A senior global finance and business executive with over 18 years of leadership experience across transformational technology and SaaS companies. Most recently, Benny served as Chief Business Officer at Papaya Global, following his role as SVP Finance, where he led growth, strategy, and global finance and operations. Earlier in his career, he played a key role in Tufin Software Technologies’ IPO on the NYSE, served as VP Finance at Tufin, COO and Global VP Finance at Traiana Technologies, CFO at Markstone Capital Partners, and Senior Manager at PwC, bringing deep expertise in IPOs, M&A, automation, and scaling global organizations.
Zohar Keller, Managing Director at Evercore
Senior Banker with over 15 years of experience leading Mergers & Acquisitions for Industrial and Technology companies. Advised on over $100bn of M&A transactions, representing public companies, private equity funds, family-owned businesses and founders. Prior to joining Evercore, worked at J.P. Morgan’s M&A group for 9 years, as well as at Lazard investment bank. He also held the position of head of treasury at Harvard University, where he oversaw the university’s debt capital markets and treasury operations. Brings expertise in M&A, strategic finance, capital structure advisory, financial due diligence, financial risk assessment and tax structuring.
