lateral. /Barcelona launch

In Barcelona for Unlock VC?
So are we! 🌿

This one's a bigger deal than usual: it's the official launch of lateral. Barcelona, with Izzy and Chiara as our city leads. The first of many here.

Come for a drink, meet people doing the same work in different places, and help shape what lateral. becomes. It's a laid-back room, titles stay at the door.

About your hosts:

lateral. is a community for everyone in impact investing who isn't a partner yet, close to 200 people across Europe. We connect people across funds, sectors and geographies through WhatsApp channels, a dealflow newsletter, and events like this one.

maze impact is a VC fund investing in deeptech and science solutions for impact at pre-seed stage, based in Lisbon.

Brighteye Ventures is a specialist VC fund backing founders shaping tomorrow's HumanOS, the emerging layer of tools and systems helping people learn, work, and adapt continuously.

Ship2B Ventures was born from a foundation, built by investors and impact practitioners focused on solving humanity's most pressing problems while delivering strong financial returns, backing founders rethinking how humanity ages, raises children, and navigates the climate transition.

Please note: This side event is part of Unlock VC in Barcelona but is independently organized and run. Please direct any questions (or praise!) to the event organizers.

Acceptance to host or attend a side event does not guarantee a ticket to Unlock VC's main event. If you'd like to attend the main event, please apply for a ticket here.
