Craft a Job in a Think Tank
What if your next career move didn’t come from applying for a role — but from creating one?
On 10 June, Brave Starts is bringing together a carefully selected group of just eight members for a rare, hands-on opportunity with the International Longevity Centre (ILC), a highly respected think tank with strong political connections and influence.
There’s no job being advertised here. No predefined role to step into. Instead, you’ll be stepping into a live challenge — working directly with the ILC’s leadership to explore how they can grow new income streams, partnerships and funded initiatives.
During this interactive session, you’ll collaborate closely with the ILC CEO to understand their priorities and real-world challenges. Together, you’ll identify opportunities, shape them into credible, practical propositions, and present your ideas back to the senior team. This is not a theoretical exercise — it’s a genuine brief, with real potential.
And that’s where things get interesting.
If strong ideas emerge and gain traction, there may be an opportunity to continue developing them beyond the session — with work likely delivered through Brave Starts, and the potential to build a role and income around what you help create. You won’t be starting from scratch, but building on an established, credible platform with meaningful access and support.
This opportunity exists because of the strength and calibre of the Brave Starts community. The ILC is opening up its thinking, time and challenges in a high-trust environment — and we’re looking for people ready to meet that level.
We’re seeking members who are comfortable with ambiguity, bring strong experience or commercial instinct, and are motivated to create meaningful work rather than wait for it to appear. In return, you’ll be part of a small, focused group, working closely with a respected organisation on something that could genuinely evolve into more.
To ensure the quality of the experience, places are strictly limited to eight participants.
If this feels like the kind of opportunity you’ve been waiting for — not to find a role, but to shape one — we’d love to hear from you.
Register your interest below to be considered.
A note on expectations
To protect both the International Longevity Centre and Brave Starts, this opportunity operates within a high-trust, professional environment. Participants will be asked to sign an NDA, and any work developed beyond the session must not present you as employed by or representing the ILC unless formally agreed. We also ask that everyone brings a high standard of professionalism, sound judgement, and integrity throughout.
