LOOK UP INTERVIEW: Beth Miles, Help for Heroes
From our series of interviews with charities and not-for-profits: a conversation with Beth Miles, Marketing Communications & Public Affairs Director Help for Heroes.
Help for Heroes is a charity dedicated to the cause of helping veterans of the UK Armed Forces to live well after service.
Its emergence is probably one of the most spectacular success stories of charity storytelling in the UK. And at a time of international uncertainty, this is an organisation with increased importance, and new storytelling challenges.
Beth is a brilliant and entrepreneurial marketer, who had huge success as a storyteller in the world of FMCG, in particular at Coca-Cola, before moving into the charity sector. Now, she is dedicated to telling a different kind of story...one that is essential to keeping our promise to veterans that after keeping us safe, they will find the peace the deserve.
Our conversation will cover Beth's journey, some of the challenges we are wrestling together as partners, and how she sees the evolving world of charity storytelling. There will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end for attendees.
