Team Building Day: Warm-up for the EAG Global Buildathon
The best hackathon projects don't start on hackathon day.
They start a week earlier, in a room where the right people find each other.
So on Thursday, September 3, we're opening Frontier Hub (Ethereum Hub) for the whole day, and giving the afternoon entirely to building teams.
The Hub is a coworking, so come work your normal day. Head down, calls, deadlines, all fine. Join the room when you have space for it.
🤝 The part that actually matters
At 2pm we stop working and start pairing. Not a pitch round, not a networking hour. A real session:
Everyone says what they want to build, and what they're missing
We go through every EAG and HSK Chain track together, out loud, so you can see where your idea actually lands
We walk through the judging criteria, so you spend Saturday building toward something specific instead of guessing
Teams form. Half-teams get completed. Good ideas find the people who can carry them.
You can walk in alone and walk out with people who care about your idea as much as you do. That's the whole day.
🌴 How the day runs
9am · Doors open. Bring your laptop, take a table, work from the space.
~12:20pm · We eat lunch together on the 3rd floor most Thursdays. Consider yourself invited.
2pm · Team building. Ideas, tracks, judging criteria, teams.
Afterwards · Keep working, keep talking. Nobody's rushing you out.
Who should be in the room
Anyone registered for the EAG Global Buildathon, and anyone still deciding. Developers, designers, researchers, product people, students, first-time hackers.
You don't need a team. You don't need a finished idea. You need to show up and say what you're curious about.
