AndPurpose is partnering with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) as an Innovation Partner for the 25th edition of the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS), the only independently convened platform in the Global South.
The Silver Jubilee edition of the Summit will take place from February 25–27, 2026, at Taj Palace, New Delhi & attract 2000+ delegates.
Anchored by the theme ‘परिवर्तन | Transformations: Vision, Voices, and Values for Sustainable Development’, WSDS 2026 convenes global leaders, policymakers, investors, innovators, and practitioners to address the growing gap between climate ambition and real-world outcomes.
As the world enters 2026, evidence from the Global Stocktake and the mid-point review of the Sustainable Development Goals points to a concerning reality—emissions trajectories remain misaligned with targets, and progress across several SDGs continues to lag. These challenges underscore the need for approaches that move beyond incremental change toward systemic transformation.
As an Innovation Partner, AndPurpose supports this platform to encourage cross-sector dialogue and collaboration at the intersection of climate, capital, and impact.
Through this engagement, AndPurpose aims to contribute to conversations that bridge policy intent with implementation, spotlight practical innovations, and help build partnerships capable of delivering measurable, long-term outcomes.
For over twenty-five years, WSDS has remained the only independently convened global forum on sustainable development based in the Global South, bringing together Heads of State, Ministers, Nobel Laureates, business leaders, and experts from across geographies and sectors.
